Generally speaking, our youngest students begin KIC in 1st grade. We sometimes make exceptions for kindergarten students who show readiness to learn an instrument.

KIC’s after-school music program is free. In order to fulfill our vision of providing music education to all, KIC does not charge tuition. Scholarships are available for KIC summer camp.

What are your expectations if my student joins KIC?

KIC students are expected to fully participate in KIC’s program. That means attending every day they have KIC, participating in all required performances, and practicing their instrument at home.
