Our program incorporates factors shown to positively impact youth development and outcomes: adults who prioritize youth and challenge growth, diverse, equitable environments where everyone belongs, peer to peer engagement, and an environment where power is shared.

With Challenge
KIC provides a safe space for kids to take risks and be brave. We celebrate all successes, no matter how small.
With Continuity
KIC is a commitment and a community. We meet four days per week and our students grow through the program, from Kindergarten to 12th grade.
With Diversity
Our students come from all racial, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds. Over 50% of our students identify as BIPOC.
With Youth Development
Our mentor program and youth-led engagement helps build leadership, confidence, and successful outcomes.
With Proven Results
KIC students enjoy a 100% high school graduation rate. All KIC grads have gone on to post-secondary education.
